- Purple Haze Parachute Dry Fly: Created around 2000 by Montana guide and tier Andy Carlson of Bitterroot Anglers on the Bitterroot River, this pattern quickly became a western favorite as a highly visible variation of the Parachute Adams
- Effective Attractor & Mayfly Imitation: The bright purple body makes it highly visible and effective both as a searching pattern and as an imitation for various mayfly hatches
- Premium Parachute Construction: Hand-tied with a poly wing for excellent visibility and flotation, a parachute post, and quality hackle for a natural low-riding profile on the water
- Versatile Searching Dry Fly: Performs well on freestone rivers, tailwaters, and streams throughout the season; highly effective for brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout
- Popular Western Dry Fly: A durable, easy-to-track pattern that has become a staple in many western fly boxes since its introduction over 20 years ago
